1. Gryffindor
Well, Gryffindor was found by Godric Gryffindor, who had a bold brave heart of a Lion. Well, one day, since his parents were Muggles, he decided to do something cool. He went to the woods and picked up a nice straight thick stick. He felt a weird wind around himself and decided that it was the "magical" stick, so he decided to call it a "wand". Well now, he went home, took a knife and shaved off the edges of the stick until it was thin strip of wood. It had a thick holder with a leather grip, and a thin top. Godric Gryffindor didn't know, because he was only 11 that time, that he was one of the most famous person in the whole "wizarding world". So he decided to make some "spells" up with Latin Roots. So, he made up the spell, "Elementum". Now, Elementum in the later Wizarding World, was a very forbidden Curse, worse than the three Unforgivable Curses that Salazar Slytherin made up (1). It was named, the Elemental Curse. So when he said "Elementum", the frying pan was burnt to ashes. He was horrified what he did and just went to build a castle which he later named "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry".
